Annatto seed/powder 

It is used as a natural coloring agent as it provides an exotic and bright appearance to food. Basil

Basil is an antiseptic, anti-aging ingredient. Basil contains oils that can help keep your skin blemish-free. It will act as a block, not to let bacteria into your skin. Basil is known for reducing inflammation of the skin. 


Calendula 

have been used traditionally as culinary and medicinal herbs. The petals are edible and can be used fresh in salads or dried and used to color cheese or as a replacement for saffron. A yellow dye has been extracted from the flowers.It is used to help all kinds of skin remedies. Calendula flowers are sacred flowers in India and have been used to decorate the statues of Hindu deities since early times. Calendula oil is still used medicinally. The oil of C. Officinalis is used as an anti-inflammatory, an antitumor agent, and a remedy for healing wounds

Dandelion 

is a large genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae and consists of species commonly known as dandelion. They are found on all continents and have been gathered for food since prehistory. Dandelion leaves contain abundant vitamins and minerals, especially vitamins A, C, and K, and are good sources of calcium, potassium, iron, and manganese. Dandelion leaf is another wonderful green natural soap colorant.

Honey

Honey is a humectant, which means it attracts and retains moisture on hair and skin. It provides lather for your soap.

Lime

Lime is rich in powerful antioxidants like Vitamin C, citric acid, and flavonoids. Lime juice is considered as a natural bleaching agent due to its skin lightening properties. It can be used to lighten dark spots. All you need to do is apply it with a cotton ball to the darkened portions of your skin and leave it for 30 minutes. However, ensure that you stay indoors and avoid direct exposure to sunlight this remedy can make your skin sensitive to sunlight. Also, it is advisable to apply sunscreen before venturing out. You can also use this remedy to lighten dark underarms. With the progression of age and the exposure to UV rays, melanin that imparts color to your skin, can build up and get accumulated in your skin, giving rise to dark spots and other signs of aging. The peel of lime inhibits melanin production

Mint

Mint in soaps works as an antiseptic skin cleanser used to treat urticaria and pruritis. It also relieves itchiness and irritation when used in moderation; otherwise, it may cause skin irritation. Peppermint soap acts as a refreshing skin tonic and cools down inflammation caused by skin blemishes and acne.

Oatmeal

Is a mild exfoliant. Oatmeal doesn’t interfere with the cleaning ability of soap. It contains a natural and mild cleanser, and it provides anti-inflammatory properties.

Peanut Butter

Makes your skin feel so very soft. Adds a creamy lather to the soap. The texture is rich, the soap feels very luxurious. 

Paprika 

Paprika makes the soap peach to melon orange in color depending on how much is used.

 

Rose Clay

will give your soap a pink color. It is also a very mild exfoliant.

Rose water

Rose water is great for all types of skin. 

Sage

It will help to create a harder bar of soap, when used dissolved in water, it won't exfoliate your skin.

Sugar

It will help the lather of the soap, and when dissolved in water, it won't exfoliate your skin.

Turmeric

Turmeric will cause your soap to turn a lovely dark yellow color.
